Hey Guys, I'm doing a Beta Canon and focus on the Star trek Typhon Pact. This is a 'test' video to see if it will start a good conversation. If you want to see more of the Typhon Pact.. or atleast Beta Canon, please consider commenting and giving me your opinions on it. Also, I know I got a bit spicy but I felt like it was an interesting conversation.

The more star trek lore the merrier whether its beta cannon or alpha cannon I've been wanting to read the typhon series for awhile now

This is fascinating! Some Beta canon is pretty awesome.

Dont know how to look at this. On the one hand its interesting because its Trek content from the novels which I will never bother reading myself. On the other hand where it is from those extended sources its hard to care about it because its content that can and across media regularly gets invalidated. On the third hand I do enjoy the content and what you produce is well made and engaging.


So really dont know if I should pay any attention to this or not.

I think some people might need to understand the preceding series "Star Trek Destiny" before getting into Typhon Pact though. The Borg invasion of the Alpha Quadrant will explain a lot on why certain things happened. Also, things like the Romulan Republic, you need to mention just to give folks a little context. The Federation started this cold War by helping a Romulan Secessionist movement breakaway from the Romulan Empire.

And all of this could've been prevented if Starfleet had just used _Betazoids in security and intelligence…_
BTW can you do the *Battle of Betazed* series sometime - what is that forbidden power and how would the Betazoids change afterwards.
A more militant Betazed would give Starfleet a massive power up, if they started joining Starfleet in numbers.

Just reimagine TNG with *Deanna Troi having the power of, * _but not the personality of, _ *her mother.*
Not only would no deceptions work, but cloaked ships could be detected and fired on (like eventually in the battle in Nemesis) and maybe even shield frequencies read (like with Geordie's visor in Generations).

And since the Ferengi are on the same side, the Typhon pack would have no countermeasures.
