Posh Accent Posh English How to Sound POSH Talk Posh RP ESL British English Pronunciation
Posh accent
A video with a few guiders of how to talk in a posh British English accent. You need to lengthen your vowels and enunciate every word. Both these factors will help you if you want to imitate an upper class posh British accent.
This video gives an example of me talking in a posh British English accent. It is a posh RP accent.
Furthermore phrases like old chap, old boy, spiffing, jolly good show ... give the right vocabulary to use in order to sound posh and go well with a posh accent.

I love the posh english accent although I suppose it is a little outdated. I imagine that apart from the nostalgics of a certain type this language can only be heard in a theater and in the royal palace!!! Teacher, you are a real actor!

Mr. Alex enunciates each syllable very clearly. He explains how posh people speak carefully and thus sometimes slowly. This however may result in considering them as rude, pompous or otherwise.

Two features of this kind of accent:
- The oo sounds (such as you, use, goose) are made back in the mouth (like the u sound in many other languages, including Spanish u). English oo is actually somewhere halfway between that and French u (or German ü).
- Unstressed word final ee (also written as y) has a lax pronunciation, like the vowel in kit: very, vocabulary, happy, coffee, carry, community. The same vowel is used even when suffixes are added (communities doesn't rhyme with tease)

It may unmistakably classy, but it will also make you speak extremely slowly

'm an international student, and I hope that perfected the British accent and I always make several attempts by saying the words.
From your experience and your experience dear,
Do you recommend a specific advice useful in my knowledge of her faster or is there a site where you write the word in the English language so you'd see a video of how you search any word about the pronunciation.

When it comes to master a particular accent there are a number of those to choose from. What is your recommendation? I listen to BBC radio 4 a great deal and have unconsciously emulated their accent a bit.
