I was doing a research project on fast fashion and its impact on the environment, and came across a documentary 'The True Cost'. It introduces me to People Tree and it's really inspiring! X

Niomi I love that you are educating us on sustainable fashion and different sustainable brands. I will definitely be checking our more sustainable brands and becoming more conscious of where my clothing comes from. What are your favourite sustainable brands?xx

Last year I decided not to shop fast Fashion anymore. It was the best desicion. Ethical clothing makes ne feel so good in my clothes and helped me creating my style. Tencel is the softest material, it is my favourite. I know people tree and got a broiderie top from them. It's so classic and not like the fast fashion pieces where you sometimes just can "see" the bad quality. It's so important to change our consumerism in the first place. Second hand is the Most sustainable option cause every clothing made needs ressources like water for example. So the best option ist to use the clothing you already have, repair It, reuse it. It's a cycle.
Loved the video message and people tree is such a huge brand even here in Germany.
For everyone who wants to learn more about fast fashion and the damage to the workers and earth, you should give "the true coast" a watch. It is about the side of fast fashion the brands don't want us to know.
Kind regards :)

Would wonder if people tree can stop their values being compromised by some partnerships i.e. If you buy clothes online through most standard uk stores like asos, John Lewis or most others, they send your order in plastic bags inside plastic postal bags that are not recycled widely certainly not by my local council or many others. And even if they can be recycled they are probably still harmful in their production.
