He does a great job of expressing the reality of what raising what the debt ceiling is really about. It is about not defaulting on our past bills. If we default, every American will lose. The economy will plummet. If the Repulican do not care about this country this makes perfect sense. The rich will hate it as much as the poor. They stand to lose just like the poor. The budget of the future is a whole different conversation. It has nothing to do with raising the debt limit. Only the US and Denmark have a debt limit. We fight over it too much. The real conversation is about the budget. That is a whole different conversation I would love to see cooperation because the lack of cooperation is not helpful to anyone in America. It isn't even helpful to the Republicans because the they will lose in the next election if they don't increase the debt limit. I will totally blame them if we have a recession or depression because we default on our bills. That would be reckless stupidity. The immature representatives are really hard to take. But frankly, the behavior of Boebert and MTG was horrible last year also. They giggled like school children when President Biden was talking about his son's death from cancer. They are consistently immature and unhinged. I don't expect them to ever change. I would love to see accountability for those who have not kept their oath of office. There are a number of representatives who have done crimes and should be removed from Congress.
