GM had the environmental impact game all figured out with the Volt. Would be nice to see them go further with that plug in hybrid technology in their trucks especially. Range is going to be a problem for all these EV trucks because people are going to want to take them camping and on long trips.

Yeah I get this one is the Denali model but even if the sle version comes out most Americans won't be able to afford one. I'm pretty sure that's the whole point of "EV" but if you can afford this truck your not really fazed by rising fuel costs.

If it's cause guys who purchase 107k truck are only hauling a kayak and groceries then it's understood.
How about capturing the space of the bed with a truck compressor, utilities, tool bags, plumbing, masonry, potery, carpentry. But a kayak?
