The LBC presenter Nick Ferrari also said that Teachers and Nurses were having drinks after work on ITV's good morning program, pretty much like Fabricant, so you have politicians and journalists watering down Johnson's party antics. I am absolutely flabbergasted by their remarks.

I see the great nick Ferrari said something very similar on a morning show about nurses, such a despicable and insulting comment against the people who put their own lives and health at risk before any cures or vaccines were available to treat us the general public, makes my stomach churn .

I find it hard to believe that these MPs are so out of touch that they think alcohol is allowed on any working premises, but especially public services, and has not been for decades.

The fact that the House of Commons has bars and canteens that serve booze is a disgrace.

I also hate the fact that they flog that they were working so hard all the time - yes, giving lucrative contracts to their incapable and inexperienced chums, when companies experienced in manufacturing and providing PPE were turned down.

They should all resign. In fact, Parliament should have a vote of no confidence in this government because there must be very few people left who have confidence in them.

It’s just so depressing, what short memories people have. It took the Conservatives and a monumental effort of David Cameron’s to detoxify the Tory party, make it electable, move on from sleaze and this kind of bufoonary and insensitivity which Fabricant displays. Where is the experience of the Ken Clarke, the safe hands of William Hague, the civic mindedness of Theresa May, the big thinking of Oliver Letwin or the intellect of Greg Clarke? We have a Parliament for Twitter and the government are no different. When Boris does stand down there are only candidates who are incapable but maybe electable such as Javid and Truss or capable and unelectable such as Hunt (by far the most experienced and worthy) and Gove. It’s worse than ‘97 too because there isn’t an opposition with a bold vision in waiting. How many in the current shadow cabinet would have made it into a Blair ministry?

It's called "deflecting" I would ask Fabricant for the evidence of these malicious insinuations he is making because evidence of BJ's wrong doings actually exist and he was found to be in breach of the law ! the Sue Grey report points to "failures of leadership and judgement" and excessive drinking at work against the backdrop of the pandemic.

Sue Gray said 16 events fell within her investigation's remit and 12 of those are now being investigated by the Met police.

This includes three events that have not previously been reported, its not over yet.

I know a teacher who was told not to have her hen do (when you were allowed 6 unrelated people in a group inside) because all the people were staff members and the school couldn’t work without 6 members of staff and that the governors could question the thought of it during a pandemic and the impact on the school and there could be disciplinary action if they all got covid and had to isolate 🤭 The head then talked about his garden party with 24 guests in the garden the weekend before 🙄
