I bought one for light off road trails when I take the wife and two small dogs camping up in the mountains. Definitely appreciate the off road capability it has. So when I do need it, I know it's there.

The 2001 4x4 Honda Passport is still one of the best SUVs I've driven for grip.. I think it was the lightweight combined with the great transfer case and electronics.. I literally couldn't lose grip in 2 feet of snow on hills. I tried.

You just hit the bottom going off road. This makes the Pilot look bad. Anyone who off roads in Utah knows that they need a vehicle Lifted, Widened, with Big tires.

weird. it's like the new TrailSport Pilot.. is more like the last Gen Passports (2nd Gen, real metal skid plates etc.) more than the new Passports! (fake skid plates)
