Judging from the seriously declining quality of writing in Hollywood would-be blockbusters, the overpaid executives consider competent, professional writers expendable. Then they’re too greedy and stupid to see that without good writing, they will continue to lose hundreds of millions on box office flops.

Most people who are working class don't even have much time to be watching tv shows on streaming platforms. Most of what I know about 80% of shows on streaming platforms are secondhand plot moments through gifs and memes. I read summaries of shows and imagine how it went in my head to get the fast version. We all need to be getting paid enough money to live, and have free time. Not just work and sleep and scroll on toilet breaks.

One correction most actors are in the same position as writers. They don't all have bunches of money. Pedro Pascal became very well known this year and so did the stories about his being a "jobbing actor" for many years and Sarah Paulson has said she gave him her per diem so he could feed himself. That doesn't sound like all actors are wealthy at all.

We need the unionization of other writers and artists including comic book writers, pencilers, colourists, & letterists, professional wrestlers, referees, and all office staffers in these industries.
