I'm Spanish native to Madrid and i can tell you not one argentinian person thinks he's argentinian. He was born here to a Spanish father and an argentinian mother, was raised here and he even speaks as madrilian as it gets. Still, we don't want him anywhere near us, he has a terrible attitude that his mediocre skill set doesn't compensate for. There's a reason why he barely gets playing time in Argentina, as proven by today's game, and literally nobody rates him especially well.
