Extended Update on Beryl: Now a Category 4 Hurricane

Data from Hurricane Hunters has confirmed maximum sustained winds with Beryl are now up to 130 mph. Beryl is the strongest June storm on record in the Atlantic Basin. The long-term track could take Beryl into the Gulf of Mexico.

My family is having a family reunion this week the southwest of Puerto Rico. I’m concern even that is going to be south of the island but the outside side of the hurricane hitting that area. The hotel room are $400 a night still on time to cancel but I pray everything goes well. We canceled 2 years ago because of Covid. A lot of us flying from the US is on my grandma’s side. I feel bad for small Antilles islands now that is a category 4 they get hammered.
