As a former NCAA athlete, I'm sickened this this happened and even more sickened that we let it happen. In what universe was it those girls' job to affirm "Lia's" gender? They were forced to participate in that and that's what really tees me off. If your identity requires other people to "affirm" you, you need therapy.
