Sir, nice explanation. But when voltage is applied across NGT, current will flow through primary and secondary. It is not open circuited secondary. There is a small resistance on secondary side. Voltage Drop across it is taken for relay operation. And the current will be mainly resistive. current

Sir, that is voltage transformer or Current transformer?, because during the fault voltage in faulty phase will be zero.

Can someone plz tell me that why we are taking Fault voltage in Anti-Phase to the B PHase VOltage.Why we are taking so ?
