How about we quit selling Alberta oil to US at a bargain price. Why are the exempt from OPEC prices? Is this due to location? Canada needs to diversity away from US dependance for sales. Many market out there that would love to buy our resources.

There is or was a Billboard showing Danielle Smith and Donald Trump. The caption was about joining United States. Danielle Smith said she was not responsible for the Billboard. True but my understanding is that she did nothing to have her picture removed from the BillBoard. Am I wrong? Secondly Danielle Smith said that she did want to raise export taxes on Alberta energy because it would hurt Americans. Shouldn’t she be worried about Canadians? If Americans are upset with the export taxes on energy, would they not put pressure on Donald Trump to cancel the silly tariffs?

We need Energy East to be built either along the Trans Canada gas in northern Ontario or the north shore of Lake Superior to supply Sarnia (ont) petrochemical hub. the TC gas pipeline built in the 1950 should grand father the project as far as environmental permits and opposition of native nations. (hereditary chiefs do not exist in eastern Canada). Energy East project entirely in Canada bypasses the Upper Michigan peninsula & the green environmental headache. Thunder Bay to Sault Sainte Marie less than 1000km apart should be easy to built.
