Herbin Larmes de Cassis and Fountain Pens

I'm so happy to find your channel - I prefer EF and F nibs, and so many ink videos (which I love) focus on the ink properties that show up mainly in large swatches and broad nibs. I feel like the Herbin standard line inks are a bit of unsung heroes - I always get great performance from them in my TWSBI EF and, as long as I choose the color wisely, great legibility when it's time to read back my scribbles.

I bought this ink a few months ago and it quickly became one of my most favorite inks. The color is just so fantastic! I keep it inked in a Kaweco AL Sport with a fine nib at all times and use it in my Hobonichi Weeks. I absolutely cannot go without it! Great review! Keep them coming!

Cassis is a French Liqueur made from blackcurrants. There is a well known drink where it is mixed with champagne.
