Join us onboard the Disney Magic where we talk about the HUGE PRICES for sailing with Disney Cruise Line.

Spend the day with us as we try cruise food, entertainment and tour the ship. We compare Disney Cruise Line to other companies like Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean, we let you know how Disney is different and we ask the big question, is it worth the money? The newest Disney ships, the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure are even more expensive, what do you think about the cost of a Disney cruise? Let us know in the comments.

You guys are absolutely my “fraverite” and the total reason my family decided to go on our first cruise! Thank you for all you do.

Ham is from the leg, Canadian bacon is from the loin and regular bacon is from the belly.

In the US we have:
Jelly made with strained fruit juice. There are no pieces of fruit in jelly. Jam: Jam is made with mashed fruit. Preserves: Preserves have whole fruit or large pieces of fruit.

I recently did a four night cruise on the Disney wish May 6-10 with my daughter who has down syndrome. We had a wonderful time I loved the food and the entertainment was the best❤

We have Jam and Jelly in America. Jam(made with whole fruit) and Jelly (made with fruit juice) is not the same thing. It's categorized differently.

Don’t be scared off of DCL by their quote of $1k/day. That is an EXORBITANTLY price hiked cruise, both because it is during peak season and because it’s an island premiere. I am going on the Fantasy this September for a tiny bit more than $200 per day, which is comparably the same I have paid (adjusted for inflation) for the last 5 years cruising with Disney.

I love Disney Cruise Line and will keep coming back to it. The service alone was enough to justify the cost for my family and it was well worth it.

I don’t cruise, but you both are so adorable to watch…❤

As I'm not into Disney, this would definitely not be the cruise for me. I prefer a smaller ship, a quieter atmosphere. But for those who like this kind of thing, this is the kind of thing they like, and you obviously were having a fantastic time. It's great that there are so many different kinds of cruise ships from which to choose. Something for everyone!

I'm so happy they added the fries to the gyros place. Years ago, when I was on the Wonder, I had to go to the burger place to get fries with my gyro. Once the guys behind the counter were maybe kind of laughing at me because I wanted loaded fries, not a gyro, and it was obvious because I was holding my plate of fries, and asking for just toppings from the gyros counter, but they just asked for my plate of fries and put everything on top.

My wife and I have 3 little ones, currently all under age 7. For the time being, we are locked in to Disney and all the kid-friendly experiences they have to offer. It doesn't look like any of the others have nearly as many activities for children, and I don't blame them. That's not their focus. Once ours get into the teen years, we're hoping to peruse the other brands.

When you look at the cost of staying at a Disney Hotel on Concierge level vs taking a Disney Cruise when you look at them food and the experience a Disney Cruise is seeming that way to go for the experience and the food and the port calls combined with the onboard entertainment

I can not agree with you guys more. There is just something very special about a Disney Cruise and specifically the Disney Magic. I knew from the moment I stepped aboard the Magic years ago, that a Disney Cruise was going to be a new yearly tradition. I’ve been fortunate enough to have sailed on all the ships, except the Wonder (so far).

Thank you for another amazing video and for putting into words how I try to describe Disney Cruise Line to folks…. “You get what you pay for.”

We found that by sailing on the off season we can go on a Disney cruise for under $1, 000 a night and stay concierge - but it takes some real work to make it happen
UPDATE: my partner reminded me that the amount we each paid adds up to over a thousand a night so I stand corrected 😂

I used to have a shirt that had the saying “Life’s too short. eat dessert first.” On it.

I went on my first cruise last year on Disney Fantasy - Eastern Carribean. I chose it for a first cruise because I had heard good things, I was travelling alone and I adore Disney World (and have an annual pass.) It was brilliant! Great shows and good food and incredible, helpful and kind "cast members". I was told by everyone I wouldn't be happy with other cruise lines after Disney.
I went on an Alaska cruise with Celebrity this past September for about 1/2 the price of my Disney cruise (again I was solo). It was brilliant. The food was amazing! The staff were extremely helpful and kind, just like on Disney. It was mostly an adult cruise and a real mix of nationalities.
The Celebrity cruise was better by far. Disney is very over-rated, especially if you don't have children.

If you are a Disney fan, or have little people in your life, it is probably worth it. Personally, I would rather have a suite on Princess or HAL for the same price and spend 14 days exploring other cultures. Disney is a leader in mass marketing, and obviously many people love their product. I don’t mind spending $1000 per night for a cruise, but it would not be on Disney. To each their own.
