@ 5:15 in the video, you can see the inline fuse turn bright red!

Thank you for testing our products! But it's worth mentioning that for the 100Ah battery we set the overcurrent protection threshold to 450A, this is to be able to replace the lead-acid battery to be used as a starter battery! I hope you will try to re-test our product! Our products really do have overcurrent protection!😭😭😭😭

The wiring you have on that system doesn't appear to be large enough to support a current draw of 200 amps. This then heats the wire and the fuse much earlier than the 200 amp mark. This is just speculation as it's hard to gauge the size of wire from a YT video. Also depends on conductor make up. An OFC wire will flow more amps than a CCA wire of the same size.

enjoyed this test. I have recently purchased a Watt Cycle 100ah and received it in and unpackaged it today. It came with 13.19 volts out of the box. Now to learn about how to recharge it, and eventurally add solar panels.
thanks

If your voltage gets lower your actual amps will get higher. Might be losing it through connections and wiring.

Those fuses are common failures for solar installs. Do the BMSes shut down from a short?

The battery can continue to work normally with such a large load current. This battery is so strong. Where can I buy it?

There is nothing wrong with the BMS. I don't think you understand the 100ah rating. That is the capacity. has nothing to do with how much of a load you can pull. i think your giving bad advice and need to correct your review. of course this is my personal opinion which might be flawed. if you think so let me know why.

After charging mine the voltage drops down to like 13.4 volts within a few hours. In 24 hours it seemed to settle at 13.31v. This is without any load ever being put on it. Is that normal? I seen yours at 13.36v... was that shortly after charging it?

Also, I noticed that yours under load was at like 11.87 to 12.21v. Is that normal or was that just because you had such a heavy draw on it?

In the manual it says discharge 300+ or - 50 amps fyi

My Wattcycle 100ah produced 97ah then 96ah on my testing by the heatsink method as used by Will Prowse. Unit charged to 14.6v +/- before each draw-down. Noticed voltage fell sharply to 10v +/- before stabilizing for remainder of test. Complained to Wattcycle. Was told industry standards allow 3% deviation either side of claimed capacity. I recommend AGAINST this company and its products.

IF this can be used as a replacement "car/truck starter" battery that would be a massive game changer.

use a 100A C CURVE mcb with a 80a HRC fuse use ac mains rated stuff not those awful 32v automotive fuses, they are unreliable, this will save u, never trust the BMS. yes c curve non rcd mcb will work on 12v dc too..

80 percent fuse standard, if continuous duty, upsize everything to 125% of capacity rookie.
