Ryoji Ikeda: a hypnotic audio-visual explosion

I was first introduced to Ryoji's work just over a year ago. And since then, have been delving into the various works. One thing that stands out for me is the profound commitment to this very distinct relationship between data & visuals. The level of detail is incomprehensible, and in turn this creates a peripheral effect that few artists achieve. Inspiring stuff.

I've seen this artist's pieces of work in Helsinki Amos Rex for many times and each time I've been amazed! Actually, I am sad the exhibition will end and I cannot go to watch it anymore.

in 2006 when i saw him you could not find anything online so easily as now. so nice to see more material. illnever forget my tshirt rumbling against my chest because of some really low frequencies, i.e. dirty bass :D
