If you want to subvert justice, hire your own judge. Judge Cannon should be charged as an accomplice after the fact.

Watching from Germany: It is beyond me how ANY judge can be appointed by a head of state! What kind of justice system is that???
F* that Cannon.

Cannon didn’t totally close the door on the PRA coming up again? She didn’t remotely close the door. In fact, she is teeing this up to get the case to the point where jeopardy attaches so she can summarily dismiss the case. It’s really hard to argue against her bad faith. She needs to go.

The GOP has dug itself into such a deep hole over the last 7-8 years and they just keep digging. My former party is unsavable at this point, and it will take at least a generation to overcome. Quite possibly two generations.

The judge is openly protecting the accused . This is so wrong.

This guy is the reason Lawyers are generally viewed with disgust. All rational people understand DJT acted in a criminal manner by (1) taking classified documents without notifying any department (2) refused to return the documents when subpoenaed to do so and (3) shared some of the classified information with 'associates'. When a lawyer such as 'Trusty' tries to justify crimes using twisted logic regarding the Presidential Records Act he only reminds us of how disgusting DJT and his associates are. (Edit made to word order, not to content).

So, when will Jack Smith have had enough of eileen cannon and bring charges in NJ?

it is completely different:
1 hiring people who want to follow the leadership
2 firing anybody who says no to breaking the laws.

It should be illegal to have a judge in your case, that YOU YOURSELF nominated

Watching from the UK, what sort of justice system can be fair if the judges are political appointees?

trump isn't arguing he's innocent, he's arguing he has the right to be a criminal

After Trump loses in November we are going to put him in jail for the rest of his life.

I hope Jack Smith files his notice to Cannon SOON that he intends to file a writ of Mandamus, giving Cannon the required 'reasonable time' before the writ of Mandamus application is filed with the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Of course Cannon didn't rule on the documents pretrial or dismiss the case. That could be appealed. She wants to wait until a jury is seated and force them into a directed verdict that the documents were trump's under the PRA and they [the jury] has to acquit, with jeopardy attached.
