And so the legend of the lizard has begun

Alternate Reality: Charmander actually follows the rules and takes turns attacking Pablo as it was so weak, he had no real reason to “cheat”. He eventually knocks it out unconsious, and the Caterpie leader no longer has as much desire to kill Charmander.

That caterpie is the cutest thing ever, whoever voiced it must be seriously talented

Looking back at this definitely makes me feel Charmander's demise was super ironic.

Charmander's way of fighting is just how I always felt about pokemon battles

This one battle created a culmination of events which led to the creation of an army, the death of countless pokémon, an entire war with bugs against birds, and the destruction of the whole forrest. This is the domino effect on steroids.

Now with the benefit of hindsight, the part where Charmander says, "What's the worst that can happen?" and running into Caterpie was... a foreshadow. 😱😭
