Actually the "watch your opponent" advice is kind of what a previous coach told CBell when he said "watch your opponent nose control", which at the time was a mind blowing revelation for me. The thing is, when we climb the ladders we get confident and forget the recent lessons we just used, to fall back into a more easy and less processor consuming playstyle. Indeed, watching opponents at all time requires a tremendous amount of concentration, even though like any other skill it is mastered through time until it becomes a reflex.

On a totally different subject, I strongly disagree at 12:43. It seems to me that the opponent had ball control at all time (plus was P1) and that CBell could not challenge sooner as he was P2. But it also feels true that he challenged a little too late, because if the opponent hadn't fail his flick or his ground to aerial, CBell would not have even touched the ball. So yeah, the challenge was difficult and absolutely not as easy as CBell kinds of suggest.

Anyway, I am eager to see the next video of this serie !

i thought this might take like 100 episodes but he could do it in under like 50.. but he will probably gonna hit a road block in like high gc3 trying to push for SSL

I think a lot of people forget that on their journey to getting better, they really just wanted to do so in order to enjoy the game more. It’s the joy of playing that makes us want to get better. So instead of being upset with the outcome of your journey, appreciate how far you’ve come since the start, and most of all, play for fun, not for results.

The "secret" that you uncovered was something i dont pay much attention to and now you got me questioning whether or not thats the reason i was hardstuck in c3 for the past week when i was destroying lobbies like 10 days ago, good job on sticking it through mr., looking forward to the next video :))

Thank you so much cell for the one thing that put you down at rock bottom which was watching your opponents. Because of this, i managed to go from champ 2 div 3 to Champ 3 div 2 so thank you soo much

I’ve been hard stuck C1/C2 for 5 years. I’ve taken loads of long breaks in the past 2 years, but thinking it’s time I put down the controller.
Like you said “I’m too dumb for this game”
The only think keeping me going is a quote I saw
“It’s painful hating something you once loved”

Progress is like the stock market. It's not a straight line, but if your going up you'll see higher highs and higher lows. Your peak is higher, and when you tank hundreds of mmr and hit your bottom, at least it's a higher bottom

Thank you c bell, the ‘ watch your opponent’ is very useful I flew straight past my hardstuck diamond rank in 2s straight to champ with that information, if your smart enough you’ll know how to implement that into your game and get better much love

Got to give it to you. You’ve been in gc and I don’t think I’ve ever thought you were going to be there or higher but seriously you’ve improved a ton and it’s honestly crazy

Yep, same thing happened to me recently. I noticed my mechanics and car control, field awareness and game sense has all been right.

But yet it still feels like not the old ke who peaked once to high gc1. Figured it's just my mindset, not one you can exactly control but eventually we all have those better and more clear days where our mind to hand movements are just so much better.

I'm from Italy, playing RL since july 2015. And hardstuck champ for 5 years. 3 months ago i realised your same thing, it's all about thinking about the next move, keeping calm and doing a good rotation, and suddendly i hit GC. And now i'm more confidant than ever, next step GC2
