When I was 13 my friend introduced me to sleeping with sirens. She never made it to 15 because a drunk driver took her life, and I sang this song sitting by her grave a few months after she died. I'm 23 now listening to this going through a rough time and feeling oddly nostalgic, but connecting to this part of my life gave me some comfort. Thank you, Kellin.

My best friend Austin passed away due to a car crash last night and this was his favorite song ever, especially this cover. Him and his wife would listen to SWS all the time, and Austin was actually the one that got me into their music just months ago… Sleeping With Sirens and their music has helped me so much, they’re one of my favorite bands.

Thank you Sleeping With Sirens for keeping Austin happy. And thank you Jesus for letting Austin live the life he had and for not letting him take anything for granted up to his final breath.

His voice works so well for this song! It's perfectly in his range, and you can hear all the articulation. Every chorus's first note gives me goosebumps because Kellin's voice literally melts into the instrumental. Almost like he's singing into an empty hall. It's absolutely beautiful.
