SHEDINJA is not an evolution #shorts #pokemon

So in lore, when nincada evolves into ninjask, it sheds it's skin and leaves it's empty husk. That afore mentioned husk becomes animated either by rouge spirits or something else and becomes Shedinja. This is also why it has a big black hole on its back.

Shedinja decides to exist if you have a ninjas that evolved because it needed a friend and thought that was a good time to get one

honestly was the coolest evolution. only sucked that there was a mechanic that linked nincada's evolution's move pools making it disadvantageous to use both in a play run. easily one of my more favored pokemon though

I agree with this. Cicadas peel off their skins when reaching adulthood. Shedinja isn't evolving, it's being created by the cicada's final development

It may have the same moves and characteristics that the Nincada had at the moment it transformed, but it's a former piece of the insect. It's inheriting these traits the same way a cut chunk of your muscle would have your DNA and immune system traits.

Not to mention Shedinja has Nicada's same speed and special stats and _exactly_ half of its physical defence, while also having Ninjask's same attack stat. It's a discarded scrap which was once the same animal, but is now its own entity.

Well technically nincada evolves into Shedinja and Ninjask at the same time as Shedinja has the exact same moveset as the formerly mentioned nincada that evolves into Ninjask

In order to get shiniga you need to revolve Nicanda with a regular pokeballs in your backpack and an empty poke slot

Shedinja=shedded skin

Ninjask= new skin

And what about the "Late Nymph" stage, that came after Nincada AKA the "early Nymph" stage? The branching to the "Shedinja=hunted husk" and "Ninjusk=imago" stage should had been be from this second evolution form...
