This spec of Panamera is actually a little underwhelming given the price. High wind/road noise, a highly detuned motor and rather plain looking. The exhaust sounds amazing though.

The fact that a Panamera with less than 350hp and an interior that can be beat for much less money costs $160k without that many options is honestly disturbing. Not sure how anyone can justify paying that when something like an RS7 costs $20k less. 

Porsche has gotten obnoxious with their pricing all around. A 911 4S is now a $300k car (with the same options as a Camry) and they'll make you pay $500k for a BASE Gt3RS (no carbon, plastic bodykit, underwhelming interior). For the same price as a 911 4S, you can buy a Huracan or Roma. That's a car that gets comprehensively beat by a M4 that's half the price in performance and interior. For the same price as a GT3RS you can get an Aventador S, 812 Superfast, or even a full 3 car garage (S class, Huracan, Macan)

I totally feel that “transmission input lag” you mentioned on every Porsche except hybrids or taycans. Even the 911 and Panamera GTS had what felt like an indirect throttle response. The hybrid and taycan are instantaneous

Mine may not have the prestige of the Porsche, but I got the RS6 Performance and love it. Plus, I think the RS6 has more present and head turn vs the Porsche Panamera.
