Ghana Launches National Space Policy as Race to the Space Increases in Africa | Firstpost Africa

Ghana has officially launched its national space policy to harness the power of space technology and leverage it to propel economic growth, enhance national security and ensure sustainable development. The policy, approved by Ghana’s cabinet in March 2022, paves the way for establishing the West African country’s space agency and boosting infrastructure development. This comes as several countries in Africa are rushing to space by blasting off satellites into the Earth’s orbit. Ghana had launched its first satellite in 2017. But with this new policy, it remains to be seen how Ghana supports its scientific dreams. Watch the video to know more.

Nonsense 😂. I'm Ghanaian and I know what all this nonsense is about. Our government cannot build durable roads let alone launch rockets in space 😂😂😂. What a joke. As for the current president called Nana Addo, he's even disappointed in himself.
