Dell Precision 7550 Review

I got the 7550 with the i7-1750H processor, Quadro 5000 video card and the regular 1080p screen, all of which came out to a laptop decently priced at slightly over $2000; I am also extremely pleased with the ethernet port, a rarity on most laptops and finally, the capacity to generously upgrade the RAM and the SSD.

Did they receive a damaged review unit? The plastic bezel around the keyboard looks warped and the area around the USB-C/lightning port looks bent.

I'm in doubt about buying my first workstation. What do you think if you had the choose between the HP zbook fury 15, Lenovo P15 or Dell 7550 with i7-10750, T1000 and 16GB RAM? These are all three top workstations but I can't choose between them. Can you tell in short what the cons and pros are and which one you would buy?

I am looking to buy the Dell Precision 7550 with 32 GB ram and i7 10850H CPU, no dedicated GPU. Would i still be able to do light video / photo editing on it?

Just commenting on your last comment about MS WORD and EXCEL, Can you please try to open a large .docx file that has more than 1000 pages with pictures, tables, macros, heather and footer and try it with the 7750, I would like to see the result because with my system 2019 Thinkpad X 1 Extreme I struggle editing this kind of large files, thx

Mine is fast with Intel(R) Xeon(R) W-10885M CPU @ 2.40GHz , 16Gb Video ram 64GB RAM, it is comparable to Lenovo Thinkpad P53

I wish Dell would sell AMD Mobile Workstations. AMD's 5900H completely destroys the Xeon and i9 10885's (40% better multithread, 10% better single thread).
Oh well. Missed opportunities.
