@00:52 At the Dosewallips beach, Washington State, US, we were collecting assorted marine molluscs and also empty shells for a survey, the shore crabs were crawling out of the shallow tide pools and climbing up on large pieces algae, kelp as well as on top of each other, anything that was above the water, the air was way cooler than the water. We were on the sand flats covered by eel grass and the beach was the hottest I have ever felt. This was June, usually it gets hot after July 4th. At another beach the large moon snails, Neverita lewisii were dying because of the intense heat. I had not experienced anything like that before.
