The crab walk function can be very useful. If you are lined up on something and just need to move left or right a little, it's way nicer to be able to walk it left or right rather than having to do, basically, a three point turn to get alignment.

Spent many hours on a Telehandler working construction. Best way to get tiles onto roofs.

If you dont think you need one you havent tried one in your operation. Once you get used to 4 wheel steer 2 wheel us just to re-align the wheels. Crab is more handy than you think. Take one out to your place and put it work. You will fall in love with it.

I used a Lull telehandler once. The crab function would be useful in construction to where you may have a tight area where you need that motion to say avoid a garage to lift trusses or shingles up to a roofline.

This intro music makes me think Bill Dance is putting the boat in the water for some crappie fishing.

Telehandler 40 km/h for and backwards, high reach, tilt capacity. Only downside a good telehandler is easily over 100 000 euro

Telehandler are super versatile. I saw a company that started making them with a 3 point hitch and a PTO. That could replace a tractor on many operations.

I've said it before, probably even on your channel: Don't use front wheel steer mode a s a learning crutch in telehandlers. Rear wheel (if equipped) and coordinated steer (all wheel) are your productive working modes and you should learn to use the machine the way you will actually use it. Front wheel steer mode is for high-speed travel, and for getting out of a bind (if you're too close to a wall on one side). You won't get anything useful out of fws when moving material.

Here in Australia especially Victoria you need a licence to buy n operate under work safety rules as telehandlers come under construction. If do any jig work or go above 11m? n certain weight you crane telehandlers licence. To start handbrake must on, foot on brake n gear in natural, switch key turn on click allow start up then turn key on fully to start. We had blue 7.42 then NH went with yellow version, which we now have 2 7.42. with big buckets, folks n cow attachment for lift cows up. Definitely worth having telehandlers on the dairy farm, just take care of them telehandlers aren't cheap.

Neil you are incorrect about New Holland always building their own telehandler, Manituo built New Hollands early ones.

4200 metric tonnes = nine million, two hundred and forty thousand pounds. That's one hell of a telehandler. Haha
