TO ALL AUTOTUNE HATERS:

This is a message to all people who hate autotune...

First of all let's get something straight... "Autotune" is a pitch correction software specific to a certain company. There is no way for us to tell whether or not she used Autotune because there are so many other pitch corrections softwares out there.

I am an audio engineer and have seen productions from start to finish. That being said, IMO there is nothing wrong with using pitch correction. For some reason in todays society the only person in a band we expect perfection out of is the singer... how dare us tune their vocal. But think about it... a guitar player wouldn't dare play a song with an out of tune guitar because "thats what it naturally does... is go out of tune". That's ridiculous. It's the same with a vocal... Does it help to have an excellent singer? ABSOLUTELY! Nothing can replace a good singer... But believe it or not, even the best of the best singers use pitch correction. I know you probably think they don't, but they do. I promise. It takes a good engineer to make the correction sound natural... thats why you don't hear it and don't think its there. Think of your favorite singer... I guarantee they use it.

Anyway... you are free to have your own opinion about it. Just thought I'd give mine.

All that being said, great job Sofia! Keep doing what you're doing :)

To everyone saying that she uses auto tune,
it's obvious she doesn't, she's just talented and most like had lots of practice. Just stop putting her down if she did use auto tune her voice would be more robotic and horrid, but it's not it's beautiful and just amazing so just stop putting these comments and leave her and her talent alone.

To me, and this is just my opinion.

James Bay's version has SO much soul in it.

Is he a great singer too? Yes, but you can FEEL the soul in it.

I can't feel the soul in this version. A good singer? Yes. Of course. Soul? No. This is a VERY soulful song, please don't sing it, if you can't feel the pain in it.
