Failproof Way to Harvest Milkweed Seeds

In this video, we're gonna talk about seed harvesting. A common milkweed seed pod is shown here. This one is about ready to do what the other one has already done, which is to open up and release its seeds. And I'd like to record all of that CD magic so that I may pass the seeds on to folks like you. As a result, we can save the earth by planting 1 billion milkweed seedlings. These are small soft-sided jewelry bags that are quite simple to use and bring to the garden.

You can also put a rubber band or twist-tie around the pod before it's ready to open.

That’s a great tip! I love it! So will you plant those seeds indoors this winter? I have not seen milkweed bugs yet but the aphids are disgusting!! Thankfully the squish easily. But oh so gross!
