One of my absolute best friends told me that when she listened to this it made her cry because it reminded her of me. I have extreme anxiety and so when she heard these lyrics I was the only person she could think of. I am also trying my hardest to become a screen writer or author because I have a lot of creativity that I keep stored in my head because I’m to afraid to show it to anyone. She said the lyric “you see a piece of paper could be a little greater. Show me what you could make her.” was exactly like me because in school I show her all of my written character development and work but she is the only one who has seen any of it. Normally I’ll try to write in co-curricular (our 30 minutes to sit at a desk and do nothing after lunch) but since I sit next to a bunch of other kids, I never do because I don’t want them to see what I’m writing about. Ever since I met her, she has helped with my anxiety a whole lot. Me and that same friend share a love for Billie Eilish and so when she told me to listen to this because it made her cry, I didn’t hesitate. So, listening to this for the first time I couldn’t tell you how much I really do relate to all of this. It’s almost like someone wrote a song about me to be honest. Currently, I am crying too. All in all, I’m just a extroverted theatre kid who isn’t shy around her friends but only in school, she walks with her head down and steers clear from talking to anyone at all. One day I hope my work does get published; for now, I’m just going to work through the hard parts and keep putting my creativity out there. (This was very long and sappy so if you actually read this whole thing I don’t know why but thank you from the bottom of my heart)

Wow wow wow wow- my goshhh I can not BELIEVE the support that I’ve gotten from this comment. Thank you all so much- hearing everyone’s kind words really helps me push through my hardest days. I do want to say- I have officially finished all character development and most of my plot development for my first screenplay, and have even started to write a little bit of the first chapter. I am also still best friends with the girl who I was talking about! I’d be lost without her. ♡︎♡︎♡︎

Every time I come back and watch this, I think theres no way it will make me cry AGAIN. im wrong everytime. this is one of my favorite pieces of art ever.
