Honestly When the interviewer said “did you mean to come out in this story” she did put Billie in an awkward position/ force her to come out. But Billie was very polite about it. But idk if Billie would have officially came out if the interviewer didn’t say that. Even if the interviewer had good intentions i could see why Billie or anyone in that position would be upset.

Billie says that Variety outed her but listening to this it sounds like she outed herself. The woman only mentioned how Billie doesn't need to feel like women don't like her because they all came out saying they do, and then Billie took it to the next level.

I agree with Billie! People should stop forcing others to come out. Sexuality is a private and personal matter. People have the rights to not come out or come out when they want to on their own terms. A lot of people also don’t feel the need to publicly announce their sexuality & make it their sole identity/personality. Gay people exist lol. Some people see it as normal and don’t want to talk about it constantly. Just let people live their life and be themselves.
