I always carried extra pistons, rings, heads, gaskets when I took my banshee to Glamis.
Rebuilt them a few times in 30 mins.

A general rule of thumb I like to live by is to make sure there’s smoke coming out of the exhaust so I know it’s getting plenty of oil

I BEAT THE HELL outta my YZ250's and haven't blown one up in 7yrs. Pretty damn reliable bike. Operator error 💯

Sands hard on machines! I remember blowing my CR 250 up in the dunes 😂. That's when I learned you need to have filter skins when riding in the dunes.

Back when all there was were stankers we ran 32 to 1 on oil . I still do with no problems

I swear every time a 2 stroke dirtbike in the sand it blows up. Gotta be running perfect ratio, jets and clean oiled air filters.
