LaTocha Scott-Bivens Needs to Speak to Tameka “Tiny” Harris’ Mother | WWHL

During the After Show, LaTocha Scott-Bivens maintains that she didn’t get the memo about wearing silver when Xscape was honored with the Lady of Soul Award at the Soul Train Music Awards last year. Plus, Tocha says she needed to talk to Tameka “Tiny” Harris’ mom Dianne Cottle-Pope after she said she knew for a fact that Tocha’s husband took her sister’s royalty checks.

It's a small thing, but I don't appreciate LaTocha referring to Tiny's mom by her first name only. All of Xscape seem to call each other's mothers Miss [name] or Mama [name] (i.e. Miss Diane or Mama Joyce). There are some southern things that I find grating, but if you knew that woman as a child, then put some respect on her name. LaTocha knows better and would not appreciate the other women saying anything about her mother let alone addressing her by her first name only. It is nice nasty; technically she didn't say anything wrong, but it's pointedly disrespectful.

Ms. Diane did not say that she "knows for a fact that Rocky took the royalty checks." What Ms. Diane said was that the Sound Exchange guy said that "Edward Bivens" got a hold of the check. Don't throw Tiny's mom into some round-robbin defamation lawsuits. She even said that she didn't even know at the time that Edward was Rocky's real first name.
