Chapter 2: Shadows of the Grove**

Lila and Jonah returned to camp with sparkling eyes and a secret they couldn’t share. Fauna Grove remained fresh in their minds, and they thought their adventure was over—until the next morning. While walking Scout, the camp dog, near the woods, they noticed something odd. A patch of grass near the glowing tree had withered to gray, and faint paw prints—too large to be any ordinary animal’s—led deeper into the forest.
