The issue the terrain created in ARAM was that certain champions (Anivia being the biggest offender) could just block off 90% of the lane, which created scenarios where certain comps just could not push past the first turret. I believe the debris also blocked vision, which meant poke teams could throw borderline invisible harass from behind the safety of their new wall.

Hextech game mode ideas:
- Swarm, but some of the quests are chest related (e.g. you have to transport a hextech chest instead of playing football)
- Thief-like game mode (different champions as playable characters), but you have to steal keys for Hextech Chests
- Hextech Hero (like Backpack Hero, but instead of carrying a backpack, you carry a hextech chest)
- The Bindings of Hextech (The Bindings of Isaac spoof): You play a free-to-play pauper crying to the evil devs until you defeat their greed and rescue Hextech Chests.

i can imagine the hextech gamemode being like a pve mode, you get hextech chests on the map that gives you random items, maybe even abilities from other champions, you get a skin every once in a while, you can change champion while keeping the same items and skills etc, there are literally infinite possibilites

If they had made the pillars in ARAM work similar to the ones in here, people wouldn‘t have hated them so much.

The pillars in Aram where there from the get go. Not destructable, but just an obstacle.

If you made them create obstacles ONLY when destroyed, thats a different story. You then also make it that each side has an equal amount only the enemy team can destroy and you have yourself a neat ARAM mechanic.

You can make plays, damage or cut off enemies, but in turn they will get cover on their side for the rest of the game.

Thats already way better than what we had before.

Riot should fix the bug where i cant send friend requests from match history and when people play together they show a random champ on their game that they are not playing
