They should just charge a ~$100 entry fee for every non-resident visitor and be done with it. It should cut the numbers down while simultaneously funding whatever the locals need.

I support all the Spaniards in this, overtourism is a real and major issue for beautiful countries like spain italy france etc.

Dont bother with spain, go to Mauritius the people are absolutely amazing, so friendly and it is such a beautiful place to visit i cannot speak highly enough about Mauritius, and they aren't rude like the Spanish 👍🏻

Why advertise your country at travel shows & tv commercials if you don't want tourists. I forgot, u want our money but not our bodies.

Obvi i would never travel to a place when the locals dont welcome just like hawaii, but We also gotta find out how many of them going to thailand and indonasia or mexico... just asking for a friend.

That means less money for small businesses over there. They might have their reasons but I think that going to spain is Part of understanding the european experience.

Mallorca is a magical place! I once visited as tourist! I suggest to others aswell, but hold youre manners! Dont mix tourism and violent anti-semitic protests!
