This made me cry so hard. The fact that Genya died as a 'demon' and there's essentially nothing left of him for Sanemi to keep makes me sad. I mean, there's his clothes, but probably not much else.

At first I didn’t like genya from how he was first introduced but as I got to know him better by reading the manga it really made me feel guilty for disliking him at first without knowing what he’s been through. He went through a great character development and I loved how in the manga it showed his true side and how he just wants to be loved by the person he cares about. He’s so precious and hardworking, despite what he’s been through and how he isn’t like other demon slayers just amazes me that he didn’t give up until his last breath. I honestly really wanted to see his relationship with is brother develop because at the time when they were fighting the first moon it really opened up how they truly felt about each other and how no matter what family is always important. Ahh his story breaks me I HE DESERVED BETTER!!! 😭😭💔💔🥺🥺
