I'm with TuneCore and you can't get the official artist channel since it's under maintenance (been for many months, I feel like it won't be ready in years...). What's another way to get the official artist channel?

When you say, "you need to have an official release on your YouTube channel, " does that mean I need to upload another video featuring my song's audio? There is already an art track on my topic channel that was distributed to YouTube.
Also, does it count that I have shorts on my account already, or does it need to be a full length video?

That is not explained how to request an official artist channel within Imusician : where is the function available on your website ? Is it free ?

Warning: I've since found out this can be a bad idea. I've been speaking to Creator Support. YouTube collects revenue differently for video and music and music is paid at significantly lower rate (think Spotify streams). If you make content other than music on your official channel (like tutorials or blogs ) then merging your channel into a OAC music channel means your channel will collect all revenue as music income so be careful.

Hey can you help me, it has been 47 days i applied for artist channel by my distributor and yet no answer, but befor two days i got this notification.
"Now there's a single channel for each artist's official music. Your subscriptions will be updated".
