Marko Botsari wrote the first dictionary in Greece of Albanian/Greek ..in Corfu..I lived on Corfu Island when I was 16-17 yearas old and I used to get the Albanian TV channel and that is where I fell in love with muzikë popullore Shqipëri..I was very young and so fascinated with a country that back then was out of bounds as it was still under Enver Hoxha.. Now Shqipëria is Free I can watch this great song on Youtube every day!

I am Greek but this makes me cry because Greece needs to recognise our Arvanite / Epirote/ Shqipetar, who are so brave and lovely and who loved my country as much as they love theirs..we should all be one country and call it BALKAN UNION lol.. all our problems will be solved..no more fighting, .

@altin aliraj I maybe Greek but I don'y condone the killing of innocent people and am not proud of all the chapters in our history and I love my Albanian Brothers and sisters because as a mother I would not want my son to go to war to kill other mother's children..I was born into a christian family yet I wear a Muslim prayer around my neck..and also sing Buddhist prayers.. I have also suffered in my personal life and I feel for Albanians because they have also suffered, so there is a common empathy..what our politicians and Big Elite Powers try to do to divide us and people falling for this hatred again and again, it won't solve any problems, working together though will and building bridges instead of destroying lives. I also wasn't around in 1944, wasn't born then so am not personally responsible for any deaths either.. problem back then was the emergence of communism and capitalist powers fighting for control over Europe after the German Axis occupational Power was crumbling.. Greece also endured a civil war for over 4 years until 1949.. My other tells me stories of heads rolling off the hills - again not a a part of history I am proud of and that is why as a woman and as a mother I prefer to advocate peace..and understanding.. politically everyone can agree to disagree but we don't have to kill each other for defending our beliefs.. although personally I would love Albania and Greece to be much closer and work as allies in the future. I advocate a UNITED BALKANS..a bit like ASEAN.. Asians have done it with success, why not us? Time to put the guns down and start talking and drinking turkish, greek, albanian, serbian coffee together.. Have a beautiful day.. Dashuri nga London. Oh and another big mistake in our history was that we stuck a german king on the throne instead of KOLOKOTRONI OR BOTSARI..I would have preferred one of those to be our King back then in 1821. as we had a common shared culture..much would have preferred a king in FUSTANELLA.. what OTTO was doing there on a Greek throne I have no clue lol.. MAYBE others will agree or disagree with me and they are free to do so..all I want is peace and mutual cooperation so we can become a strong geopolitical and economic force in the region and have more fun together instead of hating on each other. Also let's enjoy this beautiful Albanian music.. it gives me a lot of happiness to listen to it every day..
