ROUND RAINBOW spotted in Hawaii

The photographer saw a round rainbow in Hawaii. To see a round rainbow, you need to fly above the rainbow. When lifted by plane or helicopter, the ends of the rainbow will begin to connect until they close. And the rainbow turns into a circle.

Book a window seat on your next flight and you might see one. It's surprisingly common as you only need to fly between the sun and some light rain which is everywhere up there. I have 8 pilots in my family, one grandfather was a navigator for the Flying Tigers, my dad was a dust off medic in Vietnam, and my mom was a flight attendant. - You are at a high vantage point (e.g., in an airplane, on a tall building, or on a high cliff).

- There are water droplets in the air (e.g., after rain or near a waterfall).

- The sun is low in the sky, shining from behind you.
