"Maybe it crashed" describes my life with Bethesda. Love most of the games, though the love is laced with anxiety, best enjoyed a year or so after initial release, and requires a quick save every 5 minutes so the inevitable corrupt save doesn't set me back too far.

Plenty of games arguably got snubbed this year: Street Fighter 6, FFXVI, Pikmin 4, Hi-Fi Rush, Dead Space remake, that's not even counting any indie games. Starfield just isn't one of them.
