My dad worked for a vending company for years and years and got to go with him to pick up vending machines from places that got closed down... I got to see this level in real life! Empty hotels, factories hospitals and huge warehouses! Some of these places were so big and maze like once they were emptied out and the only things left on was the vending machines. I wish I had a camera back then but this was in the late 80s, early 90s and I was under 8yo. We got to keep some cool stuff from the owners that didn't want to deal with putting things in storage! Best thing we ever got was a neon sign that said "Testing Area" in bright red. That and lots of old wall clocks, we nearly drove my mom insane with them...lol
