Opel Vectra B read DTC error codes (Vauxhall diagnostic mode)

You can check DTC error codes in Opel/Vauxhall Vectra B without diagnostic interface. Engine control module will show you fault codes by flashing "check engine" indicator. That way you can quickly, easily and for free diagnose you car and troubleshoot faults. On this video engine light is flashing in sequence 10-1-1-5 which corresponds to code P0115 - coolant temperature circuit malfunction. This diagnostic procedure is also called "paperclip test" since paperclip is often use to connect pin 6 to ground.
OBD port is located behind central console plastic cover, under the handbrake.

is that t he same wire put in the code 6 and ground?

in england the socket is on the other side of handbrake l think and maybe different counting of holes small. if it is turning differently
