CityWide: Labor Power

CityWide series host Ken Fisher begins the 18th season on CUNY-TV, talking with Ed Ott, Distinguished Lecturer in Labor Studies at The Murphy Institute, at CUNY's School of Professional Studies. Topics include the mayoral election and the role of labor unions in New York politics. Ott has over 40 years of experience in the labor movement, most recently as Executive Director of the New York City Central Labor Council, which represents 1.3 million trade unionists from over 400 affiliated organizations.
