What is Diffuse Axonal Brain Injury?

I had a Near Fatal Car Accident December 31, 2020. After Clinically Deceased 5 TIMES in the first few day with BEFORE Drug Induced Coma. I have Severe Diffused Axonal Injury. I have been out of the hospitals and rehabilitation centers for about a year now. I HAVE TAUGHT MYSELF how to WALK again utilizing a Walker! My memory is not the best. I have been a Radiology Technician and Physical Therapy Assistant for 20 years BEFORE my accident.... However I have absolutely NEARLY NO MEMORY of my schooling, work background, etc! The past nearly 18 months have been the most difficult time and challenges that I EVER have been faced with and give it 💯 !

My friend had an accident 2 years ago his right body is kind of hard he can walk but cant run normally just like others his right arm n right leg is not letting him go faster..if someone knows how old it takes to be fully recovered from diffuse axonal injury

Thank you for pointing out that children may be misdiagnosed as having an attention disorder when their behavior could be the result of a diffuse axonal brain injury. Also, as you suggested, this is something that all parties involved should be aware, and that it's effects can manifest for sometime.
