In Atlanta they bulldoze the wrong house while it is being remodeled. In Austin they can't get anything bulldozed or even cleaned up.

Not in Jacksonville. A crazy roommate burned my neighbors house down. I called, it was demolished & cleared in 3 days. We don't tolerate blight.

This city became difficult to live in over 20 years ago :/ sad to see. I miss the small clean city of Austin from the 90s and prior.

In Ottawa Ontario, literally the next day after a house burns down it is INSTANTLY CRUSHED DOWN THE NEXT DAY, , THIS IS NOT COOL.... SORRY FOR WHOEVER HAS TO STAIR AT THAT CRAP EVERYDAY 😮

Oh, yeah, he's going to clean up the yard and rebuild the house. Uh, huh. Wait till the insurance finds out the house is slated for demolition if he even has insurance. Sorry for these neighbors wanting a decent neighborhood.

People need to ban together and STOP pAYING TAXES. Look up why when and how taxes were established and justified. For protection, for clean streets, for roads... we have nothing - nothing for our money but sadness, destruction and despair- stop stop paying taxes

Crime in Austin at night is seriously out of control. However, it does not affect the super rich folks in West Lake, Tarrytown, etc, so they don't care about it.

It's up to the city to go after the INSURANCE company, it's their responsibility to have the house demolished and hauled away.

There was a guy in Oxnard nick named junkyard John who used collect junk in his front yard because the backyard was full of junk but oddly enough his house inside was cleared!no stuff inside 😮 and that was in a well kept neighborhood!
