Commercial Finance Manager - Birmingham

Haig&Co have been engaged to work in partnership with a truly exciting business within the retail industry. Having grown successfully they are now looking to complement their existing team with the appointment of a Commercial Finance Manager.

The Role

As Commercial Finance Manager you will work closely with the Regional Director and be their right hand support from a Finance PoV, looking after multiple locations. If you are the successful candidate, you will be joining a great team with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

A true business partnering role, will be responsible for supporting all fiscal decisions by the provision of world class financial information in light of:

P&L review and commentary
Detailed cost analysis/variance analysis
Commercial contract review
Operational audits
Undertaking commercial investigations and involvement in board level commercial projects

Knowledge and Experience

You will be newly qualified ACCA/ACMA or with 1-2 year PQE
Multi-site experience will be a distinct advantage together with proven experience working within a complex accounting environment
A professional approach with strong communication skills and the ability to influence
Ability to work with senior stakeholders and provide examples of trusted stakeholder relations
Confident in the use of large-scale Data warehouse systems, Cognos et al
