Trade CS Peter Munya leads a crowd in Kimeru traditional folk song during a meeting at his rural home in Muthara, Meru on Monday.
Mr Munya's use of traditional songs to excite his audience came to the fore during the 2017 election campaigns, when he used the music to hit out at opponents.
Residents now demand that he sings some of his favourite traditional songs whenever he attends a public rally.
In this song, he is making a veiled political appeal that the residents 'pick him up' (supports him) when the time comes.
