It’s so comical that Melvin can dish as many insults as he wants, but when he delivers a compliment, it drains all of his energy 😂🤚

This film is a masterpiece on so many levels. One of the gems is seeing Nicholson's character struggle with expressing his positive feelings (insults and complaints come much more easily). I know many men with similar dispositions and I've never seen it done so tenderly as it is in this movie.

If Helen Hunt said "If You Ask Me I'll Say Yes" I don't think there is another man on Earth who wouldn't have asked her, and if she kissed you like that after moving one chair closer to you you would not be in touch with reality if you didn't understand the meaning of those two actions. Fantatic Scene!!!
