In Alaska, when someone drops $60K on a guided hunt for 5 of their friends/family, we all know they're gonna show up in matching kuiu/sitka. True every time so far lol.

I work at an outdoor store that rhymes with Pass Bro and I can confirm this. The most obnoxious customers are the penny pinchers and the Sitka/Crispi guys. They tend to be the most incapable hunters as well. The real hunters show up in jeans, an orange vest and a pair of hikers and never have any issues

Then there's me rolling out of bed whenever, wearing jeans and a normal t-shirt, don't care. My success rate is the same as all my friends who get all geared out, anti-scent soaps/sprays, etc. Haha. I'm like "Oh hey! A deer!" Bam! Friends always get annoyed at my lack of respect for the game I guess. LMAO.

Fun fact, the best camo to wear while deer hunting is a red plad shirt and pants. The cones in a deer's eyes will not register it as red but will take on the same colors as your surroundings. Some people have this same color blindness. My dad was one.

I'm not even upper middle class income level, but I own a lot of Sitka gear. If you wait until it's on sale and build your collection piece by piece, then you can get Sitka for prices that are comparable to other brands. Every piece of Sitka gear I own was purchased for 50% or more off of the MSRP.

I've never hunted a day in my life. I wear Sitka gear for my work, which requires a fair amount of trekking on varied terrain in all weather conditions.
